Sword of Convallaria Rolls Out Its First Anniversary Update with New Characters and Events

One year after its release, Sword of Convallaria has dropped a massive anniversary update. It brings new content and closure to a story arc that’s been unfolding for twelve months. If you’ve been following the journey through Iria, you’ll get to experience the dramatic conclusion to the storyline.

Kingdom of Iria is a plotline that has evolved over more than 120 hours of single-player gameplay. The Sword of Convallaria anniversary update introduces two completely new modes.

Here’s what’s in store

The Pioneering Odyssey arrives as a dual-part mode. It focuses on squad-building and lets you unlock powerful Ascension talents. On the other hand, Expedition mode takes a more exploratory route. It lets you send out dedicated squads into the Spiral, where they’ll gather Origin Gems. You can trade the Gems for rare characters and high-value gear.

Meanwhile, August 1st brings a new face to the battlefield. It’s Inanna of Convallaria. She’s the centrepiece of the 1st Anniversary summon event. Alongside her release is a guaranteed Legendary banner that allows you to collect unowned high-tier characters with every 10-pull. Later in the month, Rico steps in with her own summon banner.

You’ll get the true ending of the game’s main story arc, titled For This World of Peace. The story is set in Radiant Calendar 992, seven years after the War of Independence. Trade is flourishing in Waverun City, Iria’s largest port, but prosperity has its price.

Luxite smuggling continues under the radar, and tensions among allied nations are on the rise. Things reach a boiling point when a case involving Blood Luxite puts Mobile Squad members Rawiyah and Safiyyah in a position they’ve never faced before.

Don’t forget the rewards!

From August 1st to August 7th, you can log in to claim daily 10-pull rewards. In total, up to 20 free summons are available just for logging in. On top of that, special sign-in events are rolling out with rare materials, Secret Fates, and limited-time items.

There’s also an Annual Review feature. It lets you look back at your progress and earn extra rewards by sharing your journey stats. So, check out the game on the Google Play Store.
