Monster Hunter Now Season 7 Launches Soon with Advent of the Exploration Base

Niantic is dropping the next big update for Monster Hunter Now, which is Season 7: Advent of the Exploration Base. It arrives on September 18th, 2025, and will serve as the official fall season. It will bring new monsters, the full launch of exploration bases, upgraded style customisation, and new armour skills.

The monster roster is getting bigger

Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron joining the hunt right from the start of the season. Then, on September 22nd, Riftborne Deviljho will appear as a new riftborne monster. Also, its weapons will become eligible for style customisation.

Speaking of customisation, style options that debuted in Season 6 are being overhauled. Now, parameters will increase more with each level, letting customisable weapons reach the same strength as the strongest equipment available.

Exploration bases, tested in beta previously, will go live for all players in Monster Hunter Now Season 7. These bases are connected to local landmarks and grow stronger through cooperation. Actually, they function somewhat like Niantic’s Pokéstops in Pokémon Go.

Armour sets for Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron will bring six new skills into play. Pursuit increases damage when breaking a monster part for the first time. Ballistics boosts the critical range of ammo and arrows.

Next, Reckless ups damage but disables perfect evades, while Guard Up lets you block normally unblockable attacks. Lastly, Vital Fire and Vital Ice increase elemental values depending on how much health you have left.

Another major addition is selectable monster groups

You’ll now be able to decide which groups of monsters appear in the area. The developers are also making weapon progression less demanding. From Season 7 onward, forging and upgrading most weapons will require fewer materials in Monster Hunter Now.

There’s a lot of stuff in store this season. Grab the game from the Google Play Store and dive into the new season once it drops.
