Noctilucent: Before Dawn is an upcoming BL gacha game that’s in the works. I’ve been keeping tabs on the game and the latest update is that the devs dropped a development update recently. So what did they reveal? Keep reading to know about it!
Here’s What We Know
Noctilucent: Before Dawn was originally pegged for a December 2023 drop. But then, the developers hit a stride and decided to fine-tune a few things to further polish it. Now, as per the latest update shared by them through their official X (Twitter) account, there’s been a bunch of new optimisations.
They’ve tweaked the edit mode in the lobby so that you can customise it till it shines like an epic loot drop. The combat got a facelift too and the skill animations are now smoother. The interface and controls are also spruced up. And the best part is that the character’s clothing can take damage now.
Straight from the Traveler’s Guild Manager of Noctilucent: Before Dawn, the last piece of optimisation is the recruitment. Both the recruit animations and the whole process have been optimised. So, you can expect better animations and a smoother recruitment process when you’re pulling your favourite dreamy characters.
Speaking of characters, you’ll get a wide range of hunks. Meet Delos, Heigl, Mishe, Anli, Cypar and Ryee. That last one’s actually a cute wild red panda that kind of adopted Anli. It’s an adorable red panda just rocking up to your house and sticking around because you fed it once. Cute!
What’s Noctilucent: Before Dawn About?
Set in Nirai, a mystical continent, you’ll play around with all the handsome characters and try to uncover some historical secrets. All this drama kicks off with the rural youth protagonist finding an ancient photo, then going on this wild journey packed with friendships and probably a few tears.
Unfortunately, we’re not seeing pre-registrations open yet. Apparently, the game will be launched on platforms like EROLABS first for mobile players. I hope that day comes soon. And when it comes, we’ll be the first to let you know. But for now, check out the official site.
